Rick Strahl, LLB
Rick Strahl is an experienced criminal lawyer who since 1980 has devoted his practice almost exclusively to criminal defence. As a sole practitioner, he provides his clients with a high level of commitment and the utmost sincerity.
Background
Originally from Manitoba, Rick obtained his education and Bachelor of Law Degree from the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg. In 1991, he moved to the Kootenays where he currently practices criminal defence law based out of Cranbrook.
During his career, Rick has appeared at all levels of court, representing clients in a wide range of criminal matters. He also has past experience as a federal Crown prosecutor, giving him the unique ability to analyze from both sides of the law.
Rick is an active member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. He is well respected among his peers and the legal community. Rick is also known for his work in legal aid and in 2017 was honoured by the Law Society of BC with an award for leadership in this area.
